Mission

Our purpose since day one has been to partner with brands that believe and stand for something.

Since our inception in 2007, we have focused solely on healthcare, and began utilizing our services for clients such as The Health Plan of San Mateo in San Francisco which ensures access to high-quality health care to underserved residents, as well as Catholic Healthcare West which was founded in 1986 by the Sisters of Mercy, and is the fifth-largest hospital system in the nation. We have also aligned with other best-in-class organizations to create effective strategic campaigns. 

One of our primary missions is to serve our communities by helping charities and foundations be better, and to do more by donating our capabilities to the best of our ability.

Because I said I would is a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. We are changing lives through Promise Cards, chapters of volunteers, character education in schools, and awareness campaigns with global reach.

Alex Sheen is a four-time TEDx speaker and the Founder of because I said I would, an international social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. Sparked by a tragedy in his life, Alex created a concept called the Promise Card and began mailing cards to anyone who requested them at no cost. Since 2012, over 9.81 MILLION Promise Cards have been distributed to over 153 countries. In 2013, Alex left his Corporate Strategy Lead position at a leading software company to dedicate himself entirely to the nonprofit.

Organizations, companies and corporations should strive to better their communities, employees, and even their industries in some way shape or form. To grow humanity, it must start with the ground level and build it’s way up. We like to say a tree is only as strong as it’s roots, and that’s what grows great leaders.

We believe creative prowess and intentional customer relationships produce the strongest brand identities. Our ability to infiltrate and discover a company’s true identity and then bring it to life allowing internal stakeholders to honestly and clearly communicate to their customers who they are is perhaps our biggest strength. Followed closely by our client service model of maintaining the integrity of their brand by managing and producing go-to-market assets to enforce their brand and build business based on its promise.

We believe our mission separates us from other agencies. We fight for those that are sick, have disabilities, or cannot fight for themselves.

It’s also our mission is to produce award-winning campaigns using a minimalist business model that enables us to build long-lasting and efficient client relationships and support, creatively and with compassion.
